WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Jenna Ciatto (Reading, Pa / Muhlenberg) finished second in the All-Around, but Cortland State defeated West Chester 179.475 to 169.850 Saturday afternoon in the Sturzebecker Health Sciences Center.
West Chester University took three of the top four places in the All-Around, with Ciatto (34.350) leading the way. Colleen Sheehan (Warrington, Pa./ Central Bucks East) placed third with a total of 34.025 and teammate Stephanie Clark (Hershey, Pa./ Hershey) finished with a 33.800 and fourth place. Cortland’s Brittany Wiesner was first with a total of 37.450.
Top individual event finishes for the Golden Rams included Melissa Filer (Wyomissing, Pa. / Wilson) who took third in the Floor Exercise, and Colleen Sheehan placed second on the Balance Beam.
West Chester is back in action next weekend when they travel to Southern Connecticut State for a dual meet beginning at 1:00pm.
